Hello The Canada Files’ audience,

This is Aidan Jonah, Editor-in-Chief of The Canada Files. It has been a long seven months since the last piece of content was released, and we are sure you have wondered what has been going on.

In truth, The Canada Files went through a very challenging period, where public-facing work was no longer feasible to conduct for some time. I personally had to revamp many things in my life to stabilize my own personal situation.

There were many times where I thought The Canada Files may not be able to restart. This is why we stayed silent throughout this entire time.

Yet regardless, the last seven months were spent working in the background to ensure a more structured approach, to ensure ATIP files were still handled, and to ensure that important stories were still tracked, always in the hope that The Canada Files could restart eventually.

Now here we are, at the moment where the dream of restarting The Canada Files’ activities has come to reality. I’m happy to put the journalist’s cap on once again and truly appreciate the patience our valued audience has had for The Canada Files.

Sincerely yours,

Aidan Jonah

Editor-in-Chief of The Canada Files
